Kimberly Fisher – A Life of Purpose, Service, and Cultivation

I have always believed life should be lived with intention and abundance—not abundance that is hoarded, but abundance that is shared. My philosophy is rooted in cultivation: whatever we are blessed to acquire should be multiplied in the lives of others.

Anchored in Detroit’s entrepreneurial and civic landscape, I have spent years serving as a connector between community, business, and government. I believe deeply in vision paired with follow-through, and faith paired with action. Leadership, to me, is about listening first and delivering consistently.

As the founder and owner of Lily’s & Elise Tea House, Michigan’s only Black woman-owned tea house, I created more than a business. Located on Detroit’s historic Avenue of Fashion, the tea house is a place of gathering, employment, mentorship, and healing. Through this work, I understand firsthand the challenges small businesses and families face—rising utility costs, workforce shortages, and the need for smart, supportive public policy.
